Every Blender release has a splash screen. This is always shown on Blender start, and since 2.5 in a small panel which, under the splash screen, has other functions useful whan you open the program interface, like recent files, website links, interaction preset selection, and an option to recover last session. Not every splash screen has been really cool, historically, but anyway it is a matter of personal taste. Here I try to collect all of them, so that you can see them, and find your favourite!
